Our History

JRD Systems has grown from a Recruiting Firm into a Technology House providing IT Consulting, Managed Services, Technology Solutions and Full-Service Staffing and Recruiting to startups and Fortune 500 companies across the globe.

JRD Systems was founded in 2001, in Clinton Township, Michigan by entrepreneur, Jai Reddy. Jai studied to be a Programmer but shortly after graduation he knew that wasn’t the right fit. During his schooling, he was asked to recruit programmers for a project and it was at that point that he knew recruiting was a better fit. Jai began as a one-man-shop; recruiter in the morning, salesmen by lunch, and operations by evening. Steadily he grew the business; building relationships one-by-one and growing his team, ensuring the right people were in the right seats. Constantly innovating, leveraging technology and investing in his people, Jai was determined to continue to grow the business during the dismal economic climate of the early 2000s.

As the needs of the businesses evolved, so have we. In 2007, we expanded off-shore, opening an office in Chennai, India. It was at that same time that we became a Microsoft Gold Partner. In 2010, we received our Michigan Business Enterprise MBE Certification. Our leadership team saw potential in moving toward a more specialized staffing approach and began placing temporary workers at higher skill levels. We moved operations from Chennai to Bangalore, India in 2015 to support the increased demand for a more skilled workforce.

Our clients find value in our capability to listen to their needs and collaborate with them to come up with a solution that fits their needs. No two customers are alike, this is why we expanded our Staffing solutions into other industries: Healthcare, Administrative, Professional, and Engineering, as we are driven by the desires of our customers.

Jai Reddy – CEO

Jai Reddy is the founder and CEO of JRD Systems.

With over 20 years of leadership, providing world-class IT and human capital management solutions, and building customized technical and staffing solutions to meet the needs of clients across various industries, Jai truly enjoys building and leading strong teams. His experience for leveraging passion, his commitment to excellence and his son, inspired him to start a non-profit organization, LifeLab Kids Foundation. This non-profit is dedicated to serving youth of all abilities.

Jai’s experience has taught him to go to work each day and make it productive, to be a team player and to be proactive towards your goals. “Everything else will fall into place.”

Aside from work, Jai spends time with his family and he likes being active, running, functional training, skiing, and watching movies with the kids.

When asked what his favorite quote is, he says “I am not a big quotes guy, but if I had to think of something…do the job, and then get the job.

Jeff Hines – Director of Global Delivery

Jeff Hines is the Director of Global Delivery at JRD Systems.

Drew Satterley – Sales Director

Drew Satterley is the Sales Director at JRD Systems. He started in the industry in 2011 recruiting java developers for Ford Motor company. He quickly learned the recruiting, moved into account management, supporting healthcare customers within the IT space, and eventually moved into a leadership role managing teams of up to 20 people. Drew consistently delivers top quality to his customers; he has a knack for developing key relationships with customers, understanding their needs and coming up with solutions. Drew’s experience has taught him to collaborate with the people around you, focus on the end goal, and put in the hard work. “I believe nearly all people can be successful following those three ideas.”

Aside from work, Drew enjoys spending time with his wife, Nicki, son, Roman and daughter, Sophia, cooking, entertaining family and friends, and golf.

Drew spent 4 years playing NCAA hockey at Adrian College, winning 4 conference championships and he made it as far as the NCAA National Championship game his senior year. When asked what his favorite quote is, he says, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” – Wayne Gretzky.

Sarah Lafriniere – Operations Manager

Sarah Lafriniere is the Operations Manager at JRD Systems. She joined JRD back in 2012 and brings over a decade of industry experience. Sarah started as a Technical Recruiter, grew into a Recruiting Manager and then jumped into Operations. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Oakland University. Sarah’s experience has taught her to take every mistake as an opportunity to learn – an error doesn’t become a mistake until you refuse to correct it.

Aside from work, Sarah enjoys reading, camping, and spending time with her husband and 5-year-old son.

When asked what her favorite quote is, she says “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing” – Walt Disney.
