Risk Assessment Management (RAM) Application for Specialized Insurance in the Life Sciences Industry

Our client deals with the specialized insurance needs of the Life Science Industry focusing on providing quality and competitively-priced liability insurance products that help protect the futures of innovators in the Life Sciences field.

The RAM is a custom application that is used by our client for analyzing the risk involved for the insurance policy. It supplies Underwriters with the tools to document the risk analysis process for all business needs in Admitted and Non-Admitted areas (Property, Workers’ Compensation, Products, Auto). Provides additional details using google search to scrap the internet with the details on the customer.

  • Create a new web application for the business associates to manage the risk analysis and insurance policies.

  • Send notifications to all the associates on the policies.
  • Application should interact with existing web service from various internal applications and services.

  • Conducted requirement analysis from the inputs of the business associates.
  • Designed and developed the application leveraging JRD’s managed Services Development Model.
  • Created a web based solution on Microsoft platform with ASP.Net and MVC, to enable the associates to manage the risk assessment and the insurance policies.
  • Developed a unified platform where associates can get details on the customer litigations or any other relevant activity.
  • Created a google search service using Python script to scrap the websites for the details over the internet and display to the associates.
  • Technology stack included Microsoft .Net Framework, MVC, (ASP .Net, C#), Python, SQL Server.
