InnoServ is a chemical and equipment solutions service provider company that helps businesses improve their operational efficiency using high-quality products and services. It was founded in 2021, since then the company has focused on providing smart solutions for environmental cleanliness and beverage service needs. As Innoserv grows and expands its market presence in Canada, it would require tools that ensure product availability, dynamic pricing updates, and an improved sales process for Business Development Specialists.
Scope of Work
Earlier BDS depended on Google sheets with manual maintaining data for preparing product proposals for customers. This approach needed frequent manual updates and mobile accessibility was absent. The new Appian-based system was developed to:
- Allowing BDS to filter and select products available in the respective regions ( like the US or Canada)
- Generating structured PDF proposals, leasing details and automatically embedding pricing.
- It provides a centralized data source, letting new product additions and pricing updates be reflected immediately.
- Improving mobile usability and making the tool accessible from any device.
Business Challenge
- Complex Product Hierarchy Navigation: Though the US-Canada segment existed, identifying and choosing products within the structured categories was difficult.
- Manual Pricing Entry For Chemicals: In contrast to equipment, chemical pricing was not always available, it required BDS for inputting values manually.
- Limited Proposal Formatting in Appian: Due to limited built-in document generation capabilities it was a proven challenge in adapting complex layouts within Appian.

- HAM Broker Integration: Manual edits can be eliminated by making all the changes within Innsoserv’s catalog by automatically syncing with the tool.

- Auditing & Tracking Features: Implementing a logging system to track which BDS generated proposals and when, providing better visibility for management.
- Automated Chemical Pricing Integration: Removing manual price entry—chemical pricing will be dynamically pulled from the market, ensuring BDS only need to select chemicals and equipment without calculating costs.
